Your first round

The quickest way to get a round in, and what to expect once it's there.

The fastest way to see what StatCaddy does is to put in a round you’ve already played. You don’t need to have marked anything special on your card — you can enter as little as your score.

The quickest possible round

1. Tap the + button in the middle of the bottom bar.
2. Choose Quick totals.
3. Enter the course, the date, and your score.
4. Add whatever else you remember — putts, fairways hit, greens, penalties. Skip anything you don’t know.
5. Save.

That’s a valid round. Score alone is enough. More detail gives you more back, but StatCaddy never demands it, and a half-remembered round is far more useful than no round.

What happens next

Your dashboard fills in. You’ll see your scoring average against par, and the headline stats for whatever you entered. With one round the numbers are just facts — the useful part starts around round three or four, when trends have something to work with.

If a coach is connected, your round appears on their side too, and it starts feeding the read they get on your game.

Then keep going

The habit matters more than the detail. A player who logs every round with just a score and putts will learn far more about their game than one who records everything for two rounds and then stops.
